Chemical smells

But you have to replace the onion after two days as they will start getting dry and the smell will be reduced. You can simply place the garlic cloves near to their entry points; its smell also helps to repel the rat.

Use of instant potatoes

You can get the instant potato powder easily from your near store or pet shop. Spread this powder near to the targeted area. Once the rat eats this powder, it will react in their intestine, and they will die in the next few hours.
